From an early age Joy loved words.  Learning to speak she went from single syllables to paragraphs overnight.  She started crafting stories at about the same time she learned to write her alphabet.  There was something entrancing about using language to create something new, it was intoxicating.  The results were inevitable.

Joy grew up amid trees and wildflowers on the north shore of Lake Michigan’s Little Bay De Noc convinced that the world was a playground and finding adventures should be a daily activity.  She never quiet grew out of her love of discovery.  At twenty six she has lived in four different states and six cities.  She has picked strawberries, made pizza, watched the stars and stewarded the past, fixed office equipment and advocated for the homeless between writing and trying to change the world.  Her biggest regret is an expired passport.  She is determined never to run out of stories to tell.
